lyrics

You cry and you weep that your life is so cheap, that you always feel so alone. But you take and you take and you never give back to the world that built you a home. Iv'e seen men with no legs hold down two or more jobs, while raising three kids on their own. But you sit idly by, watch the world pass you by and you open your hands for the dole. Skinned knees and stubbed toes, broken backs and heart attacks. Touch your toes and count to ten, bed ridden and death bound. Three meals a day and Mom's house, food banks and skid row. I understand that the world gets you down and I know that feeling of old. But to take from another, the milk of their mother, is a guilt to loathe in cold. As I sit and I ponder at the lack of your candour, I'd like to learn you anew. But your self righteous nature and your magical pastures will always obscure your view. You cry and you weep that your life is so cheap, that you always feel so alone. But you take and you take and you never give back to the world that built you a home. So pick up a spade and pick up a shovel and put some metal to bone. And dig you a grave of ill gotten wealth and bury yourself on a throne.
